Gerês Paradise is now a Trekkin Partner – free trail app for our guests
We're excited to share some good news for everyone who loves walking in the mountains: Gerês Paradise has joined the Trekkin partner network.
Trekkin (trekkin.pt) is a Portuguese outdoor platform and app dedicated to trekking, outdoor navigation and discovering the Peneda-Gerês National Park and the north of Portugal. Their team organises guided hikes, private 4x4 tours of the park and adventures such as the climb to Pico da Nevosa (1,546 m) and the 4-day crossing of the national park.
What this means for you
Free Trekkin Explorer Plan during your stay
When you stay with us, you can use the Trekkin app's Explorer Plan free of charge for the dates of your booking – at no cost to you. The Explorer Plan includes detailed trail maps, GPS navigation, points of interest, recommendations, and missions and rewards.
How to activate it
- Download the Trekkin app (or go to trekkin.pt) and create your account.
- Open "Acesso durante a estadia em parceiros" (access during your stay at a partner).
- Select Gerês Paradise.
- Enter your check-in and check-out dates.
- Attach your booking confirmation and send the request.
Once Trekkin has validated it, the Explorer Plan is unlocked for the dates of your stay.
Trails and our favourite spots, right from the villas
As a Trekkin Partner, Gerês Paradise appears in the app together with the public trails around us and a list of places we personally recommend – viewpoints, waterfalls, natural pools, river beaches, villages and local restaurants. Pick one and let the app guide you there.
New trails in our corner of Gerês
The Trekkin guides will be exploring the area around Louredo and Vieira do Minho to map and document new routes and places of interest, so there will be even more to discover over time. Keep an eye out for Trekkin hikes and events in the region, too.
